Ovesterin Vaginal Creme 1 mg/g 15 gram

Ovesterin is used to treat vaginal discomfort caused by estrogen deficiency. Symptoms may include pain, itching, burning sensations, and dryness of the vaginal mucous membranes.

Ovesterin contains estriol, a naturally occurring estrogen hormone that helps maintain the elasticity and moisture of the vaginal mucous membranes. Estriol helps maintain the elasticity and resilience of the vaginal mucous membranes, making them more resistant to physical irritation and infections.

Dosage & Directions for Use

During the first 2–3 weeks: Apply one dose daily, preferably at bedtime. Insert a filled applicator deep into the vagina.

After 2–3 weeks: Symptoms should have improved, and the dosage can be reduced to one dose twice a week for maintenance treatment. Follow your doctor's instructions if a different dosage has been prescribed.

It is recommended to use a panty liner after applying Ovesterin vaginal cream, as some excess cream may leak out.

Ingredients

Active ingredient: Estriol 1 mg/g, equivalent to 0.5 mg per dose.

Other ingredients: Octyldodecanol, cetyl palmitate, glycerol, cetyl alcohol, stearyl alcohol, polysorbate 60, sorbitan stearate, lactic acid, chlorhexidine dihydrochloride, sodium hydroxide, and water.
