Pamol is used to treat temporary, mild conditions of fever and pain, such as fever from a cold, headache, toothache, menstrual pain, muscle and joint pain.
It relieves temporary pain and fever. Common uses include fever due to colds, headaches, toothaches, menstrual cramps, and muscle or joint pain.
The tablets have a score line in the middle, making them easy to split into two equal halves.
Dosage
Adults: 2 tablets (2×500 mg) 3–4 times per day. (In some cases, 1 tablet 3–4 times daily is sufficient.) Maximum 8 tablets per day. Effect is usually achieved within 30 minutes, with peak effect reached within 1–2 hours.
Children: The recommended daily dose of paracetamol is up to 45 mg/kg, divided into 3 doses.
- Children 17–25 kg (ages 4–7): ½ tablet (250 mg) 3 times daily
- Children 25–40 kg (ages 7–12): ½ to 1 tablet (250–500 mg) 3 times daily
- Children over 40 kg (over 12 years): 1–2 tablets (500–1000 mg) 3 times daily
Pamol tablets should not be used by children under 4 years of age.
