Samarin is a herbal remedy traditionally used for heartburn and acid reflux. Samarin contains sodium bicarbonate, which has an acid-neutralizing effect in the stomach.

Samarin is not suitable for people with impaired renal function or people who have prescribed low-salt diets. Not recommended for children under 12 years.

1 dose bag when necessary, but no more than 4 times daily. Empty the bag contents in a glass of water. Stir with spoon and let the drink break completely. 

Continuous use is limited to 2 weeks.

Ingredients

Sodium bicarbonate. Each sachet contains 2.13 g of sodium bicarbonate. The other ingredients are citric acid, sodium carbonate, potassium sodium tartrate and silica.
